Updating Citrix client on the Macintosh for compatibility with eReports v.8 plugin
Some Mac users may have their Citrix client set to point to an old Citrix server that does not work with eReports and the version 8 plugin. To resolve this, the settings will need to be updated to point to the new server. The instructions for doing so are below.
- From your ICA Client folder, open the "Citrix ICA Client Editor" application.
- Go to the File menu and select Open.
- Choose your Citrix connection file, usually called "ARMS Server Farm", and click Open.
- Click the Default Settings... button.
- In the Address List, highlight "128.146.95.40" and click Delete.
- Click the Add... button, then enter ica.service.ohio-state.edu in the Server Address box.
- Click Save.
- Make sure "Published Application" is still selected and "ARMS Server Farm" is entered in the "Connect To:" field. If it is not, click the Browse... button and select "ARMS Server Farm".
- Click Save... if necessary, then quit the Citrix ICA Client Editor.
- Double click on the "ARMS Server Farm" icon to test the connection.
