Permission to Enter Form
When an OIT T&N in-field technician is given a non-administrative service order or a repair ticket, he must be able to gain access to the customer's room. To ensure the technician will be able to enter a room, a "Permision to Enter Form" must be completed.
This form is available online at http://www.units.osu.edu/images/pdfs/permission_to_enter.pdf and at the front desk of every residence hall; however, in Buckeye Village, Permission to Enter Forms are located in the Buckeye Village front office.
NOTE: Though a Permission to Enter Form may already be on file at a customer's front desk, the form should be filled out for each service order and repair ticket.
Typically, this form can be avoided by entering your repair request online: https://unitslinux.units.ohio-state.edu/tt_report_trouble1.html. When reporting your repair online, you will be prompted for your full BuckID number. IF the BuckID number is verified, it will act as a Permission to Enter.Current Record: 2265
