Long Distance "PIC Code"
A PIC Code is used by a customer's Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) to designate which carrier will be used for long distance calls made from a particular phone number.
Since customers with OIT Long Distance service must follow specific dialing instructions (rather than simply picking up their phone and dialing a long distance number), OIT does NOT have a PIC code. If you want to be sure that you can only place calls using OIT long distance service, you may request that your LEC designate "NO PIC" on your phone line.
