Carmen: Final Grade Out of Date [Instructor]
There are two icons which can appear next to a final grade: 
(Grade Released) or 
(Grade Out of Date).
- When the icon appears, the final grade has been released and the student can view it. If this icon is missing, the final grade has not yet been released and cannot be viewed. The student will see a message indicating the status.
- The icon indicates the final grade is out of date. Carmen does not automatically compute final grades unless that particular preference is set within Grades Setup/Grade Calculations.
- Click for a particular student to update the final grade.
- Alternatively, click
in the box at the top of the Final Grade column to update final grades for all students. - On the Edit Final Grades pages that appears, select the type of recalculation to do:
