- In the open presentation, click where you want to insert the slide from another presentation
- From the Insert menu, click Slide from Files
- Click the Find Presentation tab, if necessary, and then click Browse.
- Navigate to the location of the file to insert, select it, and hen click Open
- Select the slides you want to insert
- Click Insert

To insert an Excel worksheet- Position the cursor at the point where you want to place the worksheet
- From the Insert menu, click Object
- Select the Create from file option, and then click Browse
- Navigate to the folder that contains the worksheet you want to insert
- In the list of file and folder names, click the file, and then click OK to close the Browse dialog box Go to top
To insert an Excel chart- Position the cursor at the point where you want to place the chart
- From the Insert menu, click Object
- Select the Create from file option, and then click Browse
- Navigate to the folder that contains the chart you want to insert

- How to create a custom toolbar
- On the Tools menu, select Customize
- Click the Toolbars tab, then click New
- In the Toolbar name box, type a name of your choice, then click OK
- Click the Commands tab to display a list of available commands in Powerpoint
- In the Categories list, click a category to display a list of commands
- In the Commands list, drag the buttons you want to the custom toolbar that you just created.

- Open the presentation, and then select the Slide Show menu, click Set Up Show
- In the Set Up Show dialog box's Show type area, select the Browsed at a kiosk (full screen) option
- Click OK
- To test the show, move to Slide 1, and click the Slide Show button
- Press the ESC key to stop the slide show
- From the File menu, click Save As and navigate to the folder where you wan to store the self-running presentation
- Click thr down arrow to the right of the Save as Type box, and click Powerpoint Show in the drop-down list. Go to top

How to save a PowerPoint presentation as a Web Page
- Select the File menu, click on Save as Web Page
- Type in a name for your presentation (remember to include the .html extension)
- Select the folder where you want your presentation stored and then click the Publish button.
- Select the Complete Presentation option, or you can choose to publish a range of slides, then select the All browsers listed above (create larger files) option.
- Clear the Open published Web page in browser check box, if necessary, and then click Publish. Go to top

How to prepare a Powerpoint presentation for use on another computer using Package for CD
- From the File menu, select Package for CD
- In the Name the CD box, type the name of your presentation, and click Options
- Select the Embedded TrueType fonts check box, and click OK
- Click Copy to Folder, click Browse, navigate to the folder that contains the presentation, and click Select
- When you return to the Copy to Folder dialog box, click OK, and then click Close to close the Package for CD dialog box. Go to top
