Carmen: Missing Students in Gradebook or Classlist [Instructor]
The Carmen "Search" function allows Instructors to find a particular student using the "Search For" box near the top of the classlist or gradebook window. This function only works for student information, such as First Name, Last Name, and Email Address.
One problem with this function is that the search parameters are persistent. In other words, the last search you request will remain until you request a new search term. This will likely amount to a rude surprise: logging in three days later to check on the classlist will still show a single student (if even one student appears) because the search filter remains in effect.
The solution is simple: clear the search field of all characters, and then click on the "Search" button. This will remove any filters from the classlist/gradebook, revealing the entire class roster.
