Carmen: Submitting Final Grades to the Registrar [Instructors]
At the end of every quarter, professors will need to turn in the final grades for their course or courses. Carmen now has a semi-automated utility that will transport the final grades, as reported in Carmen, directly to the Registrar.
To send grades from the Carmen gradebook to the Registrar's system:

- If you need to submit Incomplete (I) grades, Failure by Non-Attendance (EN) grades, or Pass/Fail grades for any students who have chosen that option, go to the Faculty and Staff page of the University Registrar's site http://www.ureg.ohio-state.edu/Indexes/faculty-staff.html , follow the link for "Post Grades Via the Web," and post these special grades before continuing.
- Log into Carmen.
- Go to the course for which you wish to submit grades.
- Enter the Gradebook. IMPORTANT: Percentage grades can not be submitted to the Registrar's system. Confirm that final grades follow the letter-based OSU standard scheme of A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, C-, D+, D, and E.

. - Select the radio button for "Send grades to Registrar's system."
