Carmen: Limit Student Access (Instructor)
Students can be restricted from accessing a Carmen course by editing its start and end dates.
- Log into Carmen as an instructor.
- Select Edit Course from the course navigation bar.
- Click
. - Check Active? to allow student access. Doing so without setting a Start and End Date makes the course active immediately.
- To make the course active for a certain time period, do the following:
- Check Start Date and select the date before which students cannot access the course.
- Check End Date and select the date after which students
cannot access the course.
Note: Leaving the End Date unchecked will default to the date set within Carmen.
