OSU Wireless-Network: Suspended Accounts
In the event that an osuwireless user's account has been misused, the Office of Information Technology will comply with OSU IT Policy and suspended the account, thus preventing authentication to the OSU Wireless-Network.
Reasons for suspension include but are not limited to:
- infected with botnets/malware
- propogating a virus
- spamming
- harassment
- disallowed port scanning
- subpoena for participating in illegal file sharing
The IT Service Desk will contact you in the event that your account has been suspended, providing detail on how to address the situation.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding an osuwireless account suspension, please contact the IT Service Desk and ask they forward your concerns to the OSU Wireless team.
