ActiveX controller required for Hyperion client
When eReports users upgrade the Hyperion plugin, it is important not to skip the step of installing the Hyperion Intelligence client ActiveX controller.
Installing the ActiveX controller is part of upgrading the plugin; it is shown on page 4 of the "Insight 8.x Plug-In Installation Guides for End Users" available at http://www.oit.osu.edu/hrfin/techsupport.html.
The install guides at the bottom of that page show the pop-up message which prompts the user to installed the ActiveX controller; this popup is frequently overlooked.
If this install is bypassed, the plugin will only work for the current session; the user will be prompted to install the plugin again the next time he or she access eReports.
