OSU Wireless-Network: Setup for Windows Vista
There are two ways to configure Windows Vista to connect to OSUWireless. If you are within range of the OSUWireless network, use the method 1. If you aren't within range, you will need to use the manual configuration of method 2.
Method 1:
- Right click the Network icon (icon is a computer with a globe) in the system tray and choose "Connect to a Network".
- Select the "osuwireless" network and click "Connect".
- Click "Enter/Select additional log on information". NOTE: If you have previously entered your wireless credentials on this computer, "Enter/Select additional log on information" will not appear.
- Enter your OSUWireless username and password, leaving the "Logon Domain" field blank and click OK.
- The window from step 3 will appear again. Click "Enter/Select additional log on information" again.
- Click OK to accept the server certificate.
- You should now be connected to OSUWireless and be given the option to save the connection and connect automatically when you are in range.
Method 2 (manual configuration):
- Go to the Start Menu, then Control Panel, then "View network status and tasks" under "Network and Internet" (or open the "Network and Sharing Center" icon if you are in the Classic control panel view).

- Click the "Add" button.

- Choose "Manually create a network profile".
