What should I do if I get disconnected once in a while?

Q. What information should I provide about the occasional disconnection I experience. To whom should I send this information?

A. If your modem supports the ATI6 command please issue it after your next disconnect and post the results. For example when going in to manual login mode in HyperTerminal we get the following display from a Practical Peripherals PM288LCD Pro-class after typing ATI6 and then pressing enter:

ati6
