Can I delete existing Eudora mailboxes(Windows and MacOS?



How do I delete a Mailbox?

For Windows:
You can achieve this one of two ways:
  1. Under the Tools menu, select Mailboxes. In the "Mailboxes window", right-click on the unwanted mailbox and select Delete.
  2. Exit Eudora. Go to the directory where Eudora is installed. Delete the mailboxname.mbx and mailboxname.toc. Restart Eudora.
For Macintosh:
You can achieve this one of two ways:
  1. Under the Window menu, select Mailboxes. In the "Mailboxes" window, highlight the unwanted mailbox and click the Remove icon or press the Deletebutton.
  2. Exit Eudora. Go to Eudora Folder (usually in Documents: Eudora Folder). Open the Mail Folder. Delete the mailboxes here and restart Eudora.
