How do list owners [add/remove subscribers, add/remove owners, manage a list]?



OIT has a Web page for mail list owners to use in managing their lists. The Web page enables mail lists owners to add and remove subscribers, add and remove owners, and more. While mailing lists can also be managed by sending e-mail to an automated list processor, OIT recommends use of the Web interface whenever possible.

The URL for this Mailing List Interface is: https://oit.osu.edu/listserv/index.php (*please note: "https", not the usual "http").

The Web page is only accessible to mailing list owners. Owners authenticate using their OSU Internet usernames and passwords.

Basic instructions for managing a list by e-mail are sent when a new list is created. Further assistance with mailing lists can be found at our listserv category page. For complete instructions, see the ListProc page at Sourceforge.

A customer can also call the help desk at 614-688-HELP. An Agent can help with questions.
