Finding Disk First Aid on Mac OS 9 and earlier



Disk First Aid should be located in the Utilities folder of the hard drive.

If Disk first aid wasn't found in the utilities folder:

  1. Go to the File Menu and select "Find".
  2. Look for "Disk First Aid"
If Disk first aid wasn't found on the computer, it can be downloaded for Operating Systems prior to OS X by doing the following:
  1. Go to Apple's Download Page
  2. Type in "Disk First Aid" and click the search button.
  3. The search results should contain "Disk First Aid 8.6.1 : Software and Information", which will contain the link to download the software.
