BuckeyePass: Q & A Authentication



Q&A authentication is the method used to identify you if you lose your token or forget your PIN code. It is important that you set this up when you activate your token. This will allow you to answer a few simple questions to change your PIN.

  1. Use your browser to go to https://buckeyepass.osu.edu/. First, you’ll need to authenticate using your OSU Internet username and password.

  2. In the "Your Account" section, click on "Set up Q&A Authentication." Enter your OSU Internet ID (Lastname.#), and your passcode.

  3. Enter answers for the questions that you pick:

  4. Click "Next" to verify your answers:

  5. Click the "Submit" button if all of your answers are as you want them.
Remember, you may change your answers at any time by logging into https://buckeyepass.osu.edu/, and repeating this process.

Once you have setup Q&A authentication, if you forget your PIN you can change it using these instructions.
