Adobe Acrobat Reader Lab Install and Mass Deployment Tips
There are several Adobe Acrobat Reader features that may present barriers to Lab and other mass deployments. Many of these are nicely covered at:

and there's a customization wizard that lets you configure much of the same through a GUI:

If the customization wizard is used, the transform file it creates must be specified, such as like this:
msiexec /i acroread.msi TRANSFORMS=acroread.mstFinally, because Adobe Reader uses the NetOp installer, the installation components have to be taken from the current user's temp folder (Start > Run... > %temp%) after running the downloaded installer.
