2009-2010 Annual health insurance selection/waiver:
The annual insurance selection/waiver period for all students will be open from April 27-September 25, 2009. During this time, confirm your choice to either select the default Comprehensive OSU Student Health Insurance plan or waive it if you have other comparable coverage. To make your selection, go to Buckeye Link and click "Student Health Insurance".
Adding or dropping courses may impact your insured status, so it is important to view the statement of account each time course information is altered. Students who drop below the minimum credit hours required to be eligible for the OSU Student Health Insurance Plans will lose coverage for the term. Students may request coverage for one off-term per plan year for any reason, and may qualify for up to two consecutive off-terms for an approved medical withdrawal. For Autumn 2009:
In effort to ease the transition for students using the new Student Health Insurance selection/waiver process on SIS, the deadline for students to make their annual health insurance selection for Autumn Quarter 09 has been extended to Friday, September 25th. Please visit shi.osu.edu for instructions on how to access the link on the Student Center or for more information.
