Buckeyelink - Updating Personal information for Faculty, Staff and Students



It is now possible to update your personal information, (nicknames, addresses, phone numbers and emergency contacts) as well as a "To Do List" for all OSU faculty, staff and students.  This information represents the source data, which is used by many other subsystems, such as the OSU Find People.

Forms for changing information not available in the self-service area (official legal name, social security number and birthdate) are available in the link just below the search box on the Find People page.

Faculty and Staff should start from the Faculty and Staff tab from the Buckeye Link (buckeyelink.osu.edu) main page.

  • From the Faculty and Staff page, link to the "Student Information System (main page) link under the Student Information Systems (SIS) category.
  • Open up the "Self Service" menu option and then the "Campus Personal Information" item.
  • From there links are provided to update your personal information.
Students should start from the Students tab from the Buckeye Link (buckeyelink.osu.edu) main page.
  • From the student center in the SIS Student Center section open up the "Self Service" menu option.
  • Open the "Campus Personal Information" under the Self Service list.
  • From there links are provided to update your personal information.
