| Body: Telephones in Campbell Hall, Lazenby Hall, The James Cancer Center and the Neil Avenue Parking Garage will experience a 5-15 minute service outage sometime between 7:00 AM, Monday, November 9, and 4:00 PM, Thursday, November 12, 2009 due to planned maintenance. The Means Hall tunnel is being demolished as part of the Medical CenterÕs ÒProjectONEÓ expansion project. In advance of this demolition, the Office of the CIO will be moving the copper cable that feeds telephone services to these buildings from the Means Hall tunnel to another location. Technical crews will perform the work each day between 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM, to move and re-splice the cable in phases, using the following schedule: - Lazenby Hall: November 9
The phased approach will minimize the number of telephones out of service at any given time. Each telephone will only experience one brief outage (5-15 minutes) during the entire maintenance window.
